The product contains a single 10/100 RJ45 Ethernet connection, a DB9 male serial port, and is housed in a metal enclosure. It supports RS-232, RS-422, and RS-485 serial communication modes. DeviceMaster RTS is Comtrol's solution for connecting serial devices and running applications that can benefit from "real-time" performance. Using Comtrol's developer kit, the DeviceMaster RTS can even be programmed to perform a wide variety of local processing tasks, including Data protocol conversion, Data routing, Data validation, Data tagging, Data logging, and much more.
